Whakamānawatia Ngā Mokopuna – Mobile App for iOS & Android

Whakamānawatia Ngā Mokopuna is a SUDI prevention and awareness educational resource produced by Hāpai Te Hauora.

Whakamānawatia Ngā Mokopuna is Hapai te Hauora’s second resource, and builds on from the first training that can be accessed via the Hāpai Te Hauora, National SUDI Prevention website. It aims to update the SUDI prevention sector including Te Ao Māori approaches, the health sector changes, SUDI research, national promotion and advocacy campaigns.

This app opens with an explanation of the name gifted, and presents the user with a number of research pieces specific to Aotearoa and a description of the reformation of the health system. There are a series of short quizzes to offer the participant a chance to check their knowledge. Lastly, on completion of the app, you will receive a certificate of completion.
